Eagle Para Skills Development

The Eagle Para Skills Nordic Development Program is a pilot project to introduce young participants with disabilities to become engaged in winter activities that are close to their communities. 

For many, para sport programs requires a large number of people with disabilities to make up teams.  This program is to showcase the activity of cross country skiing so they can be active for life and also to know there is a pathway to competition.

Sessions will be held at Arrowhead Provincial Park, by the Visitor Centre. There are 2 levels:

Level 1 - 4 Sessions $50 + $25 club membership fee

  • Saturday January 10, 10am - 12pm

  • Sunday January 25, 10am - 12pm. (Nate Perry Loppet)

  • Saturday, February 7 , 10 am - 12pm

  • Saturday March 7 - Para-Nordic Winter Festival

    Level 2 - 5 Sessions $90 +$25 club membership fee

  • Saturday January 10, 10am - 12pm

  • Saturday January 24, 10am - 12pm

  • Sunday January 25, 10am - 12pm. (Nate Perry Loppet)

  • Saturday, February 7 , 10 am - 12pm

  • Saturday March 7 - Para-Nordic Winter Festival

Standing Equipment Rental: $18.00

Sit Ski Equipment Rental - TBD

Skis are also available to rent from Arrowhead Nordic Ski Club, or from Arrowhead Provincial Park.
