The 2026 Muskoka Loppet

Where:  Arrowhead Provincial Park, Huntsville, Ontario

When:  Sunday, January 25, 2026

Please note: Due to construction at Arrowhead Provincial Park, the Lumby Trail is closed and we have rerouted the course. The 17 km has 2 loops and the 24km (shorter than usual) has 3 laps.

This is a classic race. Skating is not allowed.

Weather Considerations:

·      The course is subject to change, without notice, due to weather and snow conditions.

·      In case of very cold weather, start time may be delayed by up to 1 hour.  Cancellation due to weather will be announced by Friday, January 23. Please check this website.  There is no rain date.  In the case of cancellation, refunds will be mailed out, less $10 to cover Zone4 fees and the cost of the timing chips.

Race Day Details:

• Bibs must be picked up before 9:30 AM

• Mass starts begin at 10:30 AM with waves going out at 3 minute intervals.

• You must notify a course official if you discontinue the race at any time.

• There is a $60 charge for race bibs which are not returned and $100 charge for unreturned timing chips.

• 30 km racers who have not completed their first lap in 1 hour and 45 minutes will be asked to remove their bib and chip and they may continue to ski the second loop.
